HOUSE
FOR
ONE
This project marks the end of my first year of architecturE SCHOOL and PRESENTS my first attempt at designing a residential project. The assignment was to design a house for a single INHABITANT, based on a predefined spatial typology—the long house—and informed by the study of Casa Malaparte as the main architectural reference. The design process began with the interpretation of a given landscape, which served as the starting point for developing a site-specific context and exploring the relationship between place, form, and dwelling. The main focus of the project was to develop a clear architectural concept and understand the spatial character of the house, rather than concentrating on technical details.
