Developed for a Year 1 studio assignment on spatial typologies—drawing Inspiration from Toyo Ito’s White U House and the Josef Stein House—this project approaches the traditional courtyard as a game of opposites: rigid forms meet soft curves. By stretching its inner limits, the courtyard becomes more than an outdoor SPACE—it’s a dynamic transition between solid mass and open void, turning a static enclosure into a living core shaped by light and geometry.
